Things to buy before knowing your baby's gender

I was so motivated after I found out I was having a baby! Immediately, I logged into my Pinterest and started a baby board. I was looking up nursery ideas, baby art, cute baby clothes, the latest baby technology and mom bloggers.
I waited until I was about 12 weeks before I actually went into Babies R US or baby sections at department stores. It was too early for me to know what I was having and still too early to go buy a bunch of baby stuff. I decided to wait to make any purchases until I was 17 weeks. Although that was still pretty early, I couldn’t help myself. My mom who was also excited, didn’t make holding back my urges to buy baby items any easier!
In the end, I learned that buying a few baby essentials good for a boy or a girl didn’t hurt. I displayed the items in my room which brought joy to my soul when I looked at them.
Here are my first purchases for my baby Kyler:
Short-sleeved and long-sleeved white bodysuits (sizes 0-3 months) & white baby newborn socks

Baby bath robes, matching towels & washcloths

Gender neutral baby bibs
