I guess it's official... I am now a Mompreneur!

Hi Guys!

My name is Amanda Reid and I am a entrepreneur & first time mom, living in the DMV. I am 24 years old, bold and passionate about giving back to the young people in my community. Currently, I manage my non-profit startup called Off My Block. Off My Block provides programs and activities for inner-city youth to help them gain a sense of confidence, connection and control over their lives, beyond their perceptions. In addition to doing non-profit work and management, I do business consulting and website building.

I decided to start this blog not only to record my motherhood journey for my baby's keepsake, but to share my experiences with other millienial moms. I plan to use this blog as a way to record my progression overtime as both a mother and a mompreneur. By doing so, I hope my story inspires mothers and reminds them that love, faith, patience and grace always pulls through.

My goal is to provide a platform that grows into a network of REAL supportive women, who empower and celebrate one another for their successes and struggles. With so much to gain in a judge-free and fun atmosphere, there is no telling where it can take us!
